This will be a very random post but it is almost spring and it is very hard to stay focused when you have things like this around you...

Spring is in the air - it cold today but I know it is coming. While Fall is still my favorite season, I love the spiritual connotations that Spring brings. The coming of life when all seemed dead is so wonderful.

Time to Read

I take very little time to read at this stage in my life. Now you need to know I read all day long but rarely for me. I read to children for school all day long. I read things for our business all day long. Then I do laundry, clean house, cook and transport children. Squeeze a few church activities in the schedule and my time is gone. My devotions are often the only time I read for me. This week I began reading The Shack. I started to read it because I had a child who wanted to read it and thought I should preview. This is a really cool book. God is challenging me minute by minute as I read. I don't want to say much because I want you to read the book with out a lot of preconceived notions. So all I will say is read the book and tell me what you think.

The end of basketball for this year!

The biggest girls at home have had a good year of basketball - all things come to an end. We are glad we played but really ready for spring soccer!
